Ingredients
- Banana flower - 1 cup ( finely chopped )
- Potato - 2
- Onion - 1 ( finely chopped )
- Ginger - 1/2 inch ( finely chopped )
- Garlic - 8-10 ( finely chopped )
- Green chillies - 5-6 ( finely chopped )
- Curry leaves - a few ( finely chopped )
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander - a little ( chopped )
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Egg white - 1-2
- Bread powder - 1/4 cup
- Salt - as per taste
- Oil - required amount for frying
preparation
Chop the plantain into powder, and mix it with salt and turmeric powder. Soak in water for 15 minutes. Then squeeze out the excess water from the banana flower and put it in a separate bowl.
Boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them, add salt and turmeric powder and mash them.
Put a pan on the stove, pour some oil in it and when it is hot, add the chopped onion and fry until golden brown. To be sauteed.
Then add green chillies, ginger and garlic and saute for 2 minutes, add banana flower, sprinkle some salt and stir, cover and boil for 2 minutes.
Then open the lid and stir, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala and stir well for a few seconds, add lemon juice, mashed potato and curry leaves and saute well on low flame and keep it cool.
