            How to overcome chronic stress?

In today's world, stress is unavoidable. Due to various reasons such as work, family and lifestyle, we are subjected to stress which affects us not only physically but also emotionally. Pressure is not always bad as  good creativity comes out of pressure in survival situations. Therefore, it is essential. However, when we are constantly under stress and we don't know how to deal with it, it harms our health.

Stress is one of the main causes of diseases in the body. It causes nutritional deficiencies, digestive disorders, weight problems, eczema, allergies, tiredness, fatigue, aging and many other ailments. Learn to manage stress to stay healthy.

The Science of Stress

When you are under stress, the brain undergoes chemical and physical changes. So it's overall performance is affected. During times of high stress, certain chemicals in the brain begin to increase, including neurotransmitters such as dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. These hormones trigger the “ fight or flight ” response, such as adrenaline. These chemicals can cause significant physiological effects. These include rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure and a weakened immune system. If this is left untreated for a long period of time, it becomes chronic stress. It can cause serious complications, notably stomach ulcers, arthritis, asthma and heart disease.

Effects on the body

Many doctors believe that chronic stress is a factor in serious diseases such as cancer and heart attack. One of the reasons for this is that the body's response to chronic stress is so slow that we don't notice them in our daily stressors. We develop resilience to stress. Even if we think we are fine, our nervous system will continue to cope with the overload that will seriously affect our health in the long run. One of the most common physical reactions to stress is muscle stiffness, which can lead to headaches and other musculoskeletal pain.

Psychological effects

In addition to causing various physiological effects due to stress, it can lead to a variety of mental well-being and emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety, phobias and panic attacks. This emotional pressure makes you unable to focus on anything, make decisions and so on. You may not be able to think or remember completely. Stress can create irritability as you can become irritable and impatient with others, and can create depression, anger, feelings of insecurity and problems within relationships. The various physiological effects of stress can be overwhelming, but it is important to note the psychological effects as well.
